Today’s makeup look is giving me major violet vibes ~ and it’s 100% because I used the new Urban Decay, Ultraviolet Naked Eyeshadow Palette.
I had been dying to try out this palette ever since UD showed us their new global citizens, Camila Mendes and Normani, wearing it. Below is my mini pictorial on how to achieve the perfect pop of purple this summer!

First, make sure to prep your eyes with your favorite primer or concealer. I used the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in the Original shade.
Shadows used:
- Optimized – (transition shade) Matte lavender color.
- Euphoric – (deepen up the crease) Semi-velvet/shimmer light purple/indigo color.
- Purple Dust – (darken up outer and inner corner to create halo effect) Shimmer dark purple color. *The color pay-off was similar to a matte shade, though.*
Then, be sure to use a light concealer shade and flat brush to carve out the center of your eyelid completing the “Halo Eye” look.
- Lucid – (to set the concealer and brighten the look) Semi-shimmer light teal color.
- V.R. – (add sparkle to the top of where we placed “Lucid”) Glitter taupe/goldenish color. *Apply with fingers for the most pigment.*
- Lucid – (inner corner)
- Euphoric & Purple Dust – (lower lash line)
- V.R. – (center of the lower lash line)
Of course, I added mascara, lashes and a glossy lip to finish off the look! Here are the products I used:
- L’Oreal Bambie Eye Mascara
- Fifi Lashes style Boss Babe
- Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lipgloss shades Candy Flip & SPL
