Chanel fragrances have been a staple in our beauty routines for generations. Coco Chanel’s (as most called the designer) real name was Gabrielle Chanel. Her real name was only used around close family and friends, therefore naming a fragrance Gabrielle gives off a sense of “exclusivity.”
In 2017, the original Gabrielle Eau de Parfum for women was launched by Chanel giving us a sense of freedom and individuality that Miss Gabrielle Chanel herself demonstrated throughout her life. This year, the new version of this fragrance was launched with significant differences. They changed the name to Essence rather than keeping it as an Eau de Perfum. The fragrance’s main accords are: White Floral, Citrus, Tuberose, sweet & woody according to this article. This time around, the fragrance lasts longer because it contains 25% Grasse Tuberose. So here’s to channeling the true Chanel essence all day long!
