The beach wave hairstyle is always my go-to when I have an event or even when my hair is a little dirty and I don’t feel like washing it. Here is exactly what I do to create them perfectly!
Mi peinado favorito para cualquier evento, siempre es el de las ondas playeras. Aquí les explico cuales son los productos que uso para obtener estas ondas super bonitas.
Step 1: Spray some texturizing hair spray to your day old hair before curling it to maintain the hairstyle better and longer. My favorite texturizing hairspray is from TRESemmé.
Paso 1: Utiliza una laca especial para agregar textura al cabello. A mi me gusta aplicar este tipo de laca antes de ondularlo para que dure mas tiempo. Mi laca favorita para este paso es este de TRESemmé.
Step 2: Section off your hair according to your hair type. Mine is pretty thick, so I like to section it into 3 pieces. Then I grab about 1 inch of hair to begin curling.
Paso 2: Separa el cabello por lo menos en dos partes. Yo separo el mío en 3 partes por que es muy grueso. Luego, agarro un pedazo de una pulgada para comenzar a ondular el cabello por sección.
Step 3: Take a regular curling iron with a clip that opens and closes; open the clip and being wrapping that piece of hair around the curling iron. Once you have about an inch of hair left over at the bottom, close the clip and hold your hair anywhere between 6-8 seconds. Let it go and repeat the steps until you have curled all of your hair. My favorite curling iron is 1 inch from Conair.
Paso 3: Con una tenaza regular que tenga un ganchito para poder sostener el cabello, empieza a envolver el cabello alrededor de la tenaza. Cuando te sobre solo como 1 pulgada de cabello en cada pedazo, cierra el gancho y manten el cabello ahi por unos 6-8 segundos. Repite los pasos hasta que termines de ondular el cabello. Mi tenaza favorita es de una pulgada y de la marca Conair.
Step 4: Once your hair is perfectly curled, it’s time to apply your favorite beach waves spray. Mine is this one from Ouai. Wave spray helps break up your curled hair for a more natural, beachy look. This is my secret!
Paso 4: Cuando termines de ondular todo tu cabello, es bueno aplicar un poco de spray que diga “Beach Waves” or “Wave Spray” para crear el look de ondas playeras y no tan perfectas. ¡Este es mi secreto! El wave spray que yo uso es de la marca Ouai.
Step 5: For those who want the waves to look a little more loose, feel free to brush through your hair with a comb or your fingers before adding hairspray. Lately, my go-to hairspray has been the TRESemmé micro-mist level 3 for the perfect hold.
Paso 5: Para las que quieren las ondas un poco mas suaves, pueden peinar el cabello con un cepillo o con los dedos antes de aplicar la laca. Ultimamente, la laca micro-mist en el nivel #3 de TRESemmé ha sido mi favorito.
