This St.Patrick’s Day I really went all out in GREEN. I spent my day gardening with Garnier and the University of Miami Eco Agency, alongside the TerraCycle organization.
These organizations gathered some of Miami’s beauty and fashion influencers to show us how we could use recycled beauty product bottles and papers in our gardens. We made soil using news paper, rabbit manure, seaweed, used coffee grounds, twigs and dirt. Some of us also decorated cement blocks that would later be used as a walkway in UM’s garden.
This was Garnier’s 13th garden in the United States and the first one in Miami. I am so happy I got to be a part of this project and hope to continue reminding you guys how important it is strive towards conscious living and recycling. Leave me a comment if you have any cute ideas for the home or garden area where you could use recycled beauty product bottles (ex: a cute flower vase?).
